With great sadness….

Truro Squash Club would like to send its thoughts and condolences to the family of past member and former club ‘great’ Martin Porter. Martin passed away after a short illness. He will be remembered for his captaincy of the First Team during the successful years in the 80s and early 90s, for being Club Champion more than once, a most accomplished player indeed, and his sense of humour and fun around the bar. Martin was a chemistry teacher who moved away to find employment, initially to Cambridgeshire, and kept contact with quite a few friends from the club and with the Hash House Harriers. He recently returned for a reunion at TSRC, only last year in fact. For further information please contact Roger Dunbar or Bernie Ballard.
